Ole Peter....in 2016 none the less....perfectly describing Covid....supposedly before anyone anywhere on earth had ever dreamt of it. How is this possible? Project 2030???? Nahhhh. It's just another "conspiracy theory". You know. The kind that's built on top of one another. Because Snopes is a bastion of truth.

What he is discussing there was known and studied for years before COVID-19… going all the way back especially to the SARS outbreak (an earlier coronavirus/covid outbreak) around 2003-2004. There’s nothing weird or suspicious there. They were studying this.

But, the gullibly suspicious are going to continue to be suspicious and listen to their alternative theories.

Social-media users in China are obsessing over a conspiracy theory claiming the COVID-19 virus was produced by US-linked laboratories in Ukraine

It is unclear where and when this new theory about the coronavirus' origins was seeded.

It appears to have its roots in a wild proposition touted by the American conspiracy-theory site Infowars and spread by Russian and Chinese news outlets that the US is operating biological-weapons laboratories in Ukrainian cities that have come under attack from Russia. Rumors about these "secret US bio-weapons labs" spread like wildfire on Weibo, with the media and social-media commenters seizing upon the topic.

China has previously spread baseless conspiracy theories that the COVID-19 virus was created in Fort Detrick, a US Army base, and that the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine was killing older people.

If you'd actually watch previous videos I posted, you'd find actual evidence you can see for yourself that Covid was created at UNC Chapel Hill, Ft. Detrick, and then transferred to Wuhan. And in regards to your other post stating that it is a "conspiracy theory" about there being biolabs in Ukraine and that's why Russia is invading....well....this will really butter your biscuits. The Biden's fingerprints are all over those labs. You see....sometimes "conspiracy theories" are just plain ole "conspiracies". Just like has been proven time and time and time again over the last 5 years.

If you REALLY want to look into why you believe so firmly that our government is so incapable of such atrocities, why don't you look into MK Ultra and Project Mockingbird. You seem to acknolowedge that brainwashing occurs since you feel people like me who point these things out are "conspiracy theorists"....well, how do you know that the government isnt the ones doing the brainwashing and that you are the victim of it? "Conspiracy thories" are no longer "theories" once adequate evidence is provided. The problem with "brainwashing" is that it makes you automatically ignore and refute any evidence that supports what you call something a "conspiracy theory". In fact, the term "conspiracy theory" is a term the CIA fabricated to discredit those who dared to question the "official" government narrative. How DARE someone question something they tell us is true, right? I mean, we should damn sure believe them about Ukraine since they were so right about Russian collusion in 2016, Hillary (Benghazi, email servers, etc etc etc etc etc....she has so many I stopped counting), Covid vaxxx, Covid origin, Steele dossier, etc etc etc right? I mean, RIGHT??!?!?!!?

The CIA didn’t invent the term conspiracy theory—it’s been in print and used worldwide going back to the 1800s.

In fact, the theory you referenced about the CIA inventing the term is kinda sorta itself a conspiracy theory.

Mannnnn. Snopes is popular round here!

Nahh. I acknowledge that Phil Godlewski is ridiculous.

And by the way. I'm happy to admit I'm an idiot, stupid, and wrong when someone provides data and evidence to prove that I am. I'm not talking about cnn.com articles and "Fauci said so and so" stuff. I bring up what I bring up to initiate dialogue and discussion, hopefully in an adult and professional manner. Typically when someone can't argue with facts, they resort to attacking the other person....and we don't want that now do we?

Its just wrong going into a Cabelas and being able to buy a BPS shirt! Just wrong on all levels and now there’s a monopoly! Support your local tackle shops! ?
Absolutely! Living at the beach, I'm fortunate enough to have lots of local tackle and sporting goods shops. I just bought my first handgun, and I'm looking to get into shooting. I stopped at a local gun store, and it was awesome. The guys and gal in there were so friendly and welcomed me in like I'd been there a hundred times. They invited me to be a part of their shooting club and come hang out. That's why I'm talking about what I'm talking about above. Good people in our world are suffering because of a select evil few.

I appreciate a good one liner more than anyone, but I'd much rather hear more about why you believe the CIA came up with the term instead of it already existing previously.

There’s differences of opinion and then there’s questioning reality. I’m paraphrasing what Chris Wallace said about why he left Fox News. He never had problems with folks voicing their opinions (mainly conservative on Fox News), but he couldn’t handle the big lie about the 2020 election as well as lies about the 1/6/21 insurrection, things Fox News was pushing.

The Fox News viewer base mostly strongly dislikes him anyway.

Heck, they don't like Neil Cavuto either, the reason why I mention him is because when my grandma was with us, she liked him.

Ok....you got me. Did the CIA wake up one day and marry the terms "conspiracy" and "theory" together for the first time? No. They ARE the ones who exploit it and brought it to the mainstream for their benefit in order to discredit dissent from the mainstream government narrative. Perhaps I should have used the term "exploited" in the place of "fabricated". See! I can admit when I make a mistake!
