Misc 2021-22 Fall/Winter Whamby Thread

Well everyone has a guilty pleasure I suppose lol. I think most I ever spent on a shoe was like 80 lol.
Thank god it’s hard to find my size in what I like, or I’d probably have 20+ pair! I don’t own a pair of dress shoes, don’t need them. A good pair of wolverine or Carolina work boots once a year, I’m golden!

But but why, there’s Adidas shoes among others that look just like that at like 25% the cost of that. You married you a rich little girl huh!
My first thought myself when i saw them. They are ugly and stupid expensive Stan Smiths from Adidas.

I had a business idea (similar to car wash) where we charge monthly $30 subscriptions for weather briefings. The car will enter the line and throw it in neutral. They will see huge display monitors with live radar and forecasts with audio. It will be fast tho and include high impact events (snowfall greater than 4”) or risk of power outages for vip members.

I had a business idea one time where I created a machine that allows you to sit on your butt and have hot fresh Krispy Kreme donuts materialize out of thin air but didn’t go through with it because it would make everyone fat.

the weather car wash will also stimulate rain on your windshield if it’s forecasted or snow. Wind can also easily be stimulated. Imagine the profit. Maybe even do a black ice stimulation or snowy road practice. I need a solid forecaster the only one I know on here @NickyBGuarantee or @Webberweather53 are clearly top 2

Violent day . You wake up and your neighbors shot dead and then your sisters school on lockdown for threats again. Anyways I’m still barely hanging in there in my dance class .

No, that's not a joke. She actually wrote an article on why its cheaper to rent than own a home because of 5 reasons.

Reason #1. HOA dues.. But does she not realize the cost of the maintaining and running the pool and other common areas is included in her rent (or sometimes it's a separate fee?)

Reason#2 Propert Tax Increase. IS she that dense to realize that if my Property Tax raises, so does the apartment's? Which then gets passed on to her in rent increases?

Reason #3 Appliance Maintenance. Yep, up front costs suck for homeowners when appliances go out. Especially the HVAC. but does she not think these are also rolled into her rent prices?

Reason #4 Safety and Security. Some homeowners buy big security systems, but I guess she thinks apartment renters don't get broken into??? Wut?

Reason #5. Outdoor Maintenance. She says it could cost up to $10,000 a year to maintain the outside of your home. I don't know where she's living, but a mower only cost $450 every 10 years or so, and is free to push? Also, does she not think these costs to grounds keeping are not passed on to her in renters dues?

Does she actually think these complexes are maintaining their pools, units, buildings, and common areas at a loss out of their own pockets? I live in a 3/2 on a half acre and pay less than $850 for a mortgage. You can't get a 3 bedroom apartment in town for less than $1200 a month. Plus, 96.8% of my mortgage goes to myself. Her renting fee goes to everyone else but her.

This is what happens when you teach feelings in school, and not actual ------- math.

Fro loving this ---- right here! He’s kicked back at the pool!EB9B313B-1659-42E0-BB5E-309543D49A78.png
