Increased velocities and some troubling returns showing up on correlation right now in that vicinity for that cell headed towards Acworth. I think they might pull the warning trigger it

Seems like the line near Atlanta has finally met more stable air with the wedge in place. The velocities on that line north of the city are still producing 50-60 mph winds. Impressive stuff for January!

Sirens went off at 2:25 then TOR warning was canceled right before it got to me.

Woken up by warning sirens at about 2:20. Warning was cancelled, but plenty of rain and lightning still rolling through.

It was pretty clearly tightening up there as it was about to cross into Cobb. Luckily it fell apart pretty quickly but still think it was a good call from FFC to issue the warning. Especially after Fultondale earlier tonight.
We went to the basement for a bit until the tornado warning was canceled here. Stay safe everyone.
