Is this the radar messing up? With velocities? This storm has a lot of isolation. Looks like the best set storm if one where to drop a tornado

Have a feeling it's about to strengthen a good bit. The tail on the supercell isnt lagging behind anymore so will see if it gains a hook soon.

Just went tornado warned.
Tor warned now
Favorable Hodograph for tornadoes around Birmingham, but overall low level instability/low level lapse rates are poor, gonna take some work to get some low level mesocyclones

Definitely a Damaging tornado on the ground North of Birmingham 
Weak debris ball evident on reflectivity 
Got some lightning in here

My sister lives in Irondale. Says the lightning is insane. Circulation is 8 miles north of her house
This one might be a long tracker. Up down up down type deal.

PDS Warning 
Massive hail in that tor warned cell. I don’t even want to call it a core because it’s so spread out.
This could produce another one, plenty of inflow winds into this thing, damn 
Cell is starting to broaden out and weaken on super res. Good sign imo.

Just went through the storm guys. No joke. In the calm of the storm right now. Stay safe. I was barely woke up in time

Might need to watch this storm south of Jackson, Mississippi.

Another one to watch, basically headed towards the same areas that just got that tor 
Hook south of Jackson just filled in. Good sign I think.

Just went over us. Was no joke. Man I was sleeping and luckily got called
I’m not seeing a lot of separation which is a good thing. Need to watch for stragglers.

Quite a bit of supercells forming. Probably gonna be a bit of hail and strong winds with these.
It’s moments like these in the Carolinas where you say.... thank god for the CAD wedge
