Sorry man, that sucks! You won't need it this weekend, with the low 80s and low humidity! I'm sure that will pan out ! You just have to tough it out 4 more days!A.c. went out today fml

Maybe you just have a slow freon leak? Or something cheap and easy. Is it blowing air and just not cold, or blowing warm air constantly and unit never shuts off? Last issue I had was the latter, the capacitor had stuck and just kept running and the outside pipes had frozen over. But good luck85 in the house right now at least my electric bill will be cheaper

Probably the capacitor. Gonna cost you $100 to replace a $6 part.
Yep I think it's the capacitor. Unit blows warm air and doesn't cut off. Fan on the unit outside doesn't runMaybe you just have a slow freon leak? Or something cheap and easy. Thanks! For it fixed today knew someone that knew someone yayJust fixed the one on my house, same exact symptoms. You can verify if you want, by using something other than your hand obviously to start the fan up. The fan should spin, but no cold air will blow since the compressor didn't start.
If you take the panel off, I bet the cap is bulging.
If you cant find a local A/C place to sell you cap, you can buy them on Amazon actually.
Did you use the Jet as payment? Thanks! For it fixed today knew someone that knew someone yay

How's the next " big wet" pattern looking? That northern track on the tropical entity in to TX and then zooming east, would be great! Don't think the FL one, will get us any rain!?The forecast highs from Thursday-Tuesday make my pants tight
meh I've punted on any wet patterns. Thinking about overseeding this weekend and getting a head start. How's the next " big wet" pattern looking? That northern track on the tropical entity in to TX and then zooming east, would be great! Don't think the FL one, will get us any rain!?
As soon as you do, it'll hit a two week stretch of 95-100 degree temps! You know, the bathtub-slosh theory! It's been awfully hot in the west this summer!meh I've punted on any wet patterns. Thinking about overseeding this weekend and getting a head start.
I'm still waiting on last winter's sloshAs soon as you do, it'll hit a two week stretch of 95-100 degree temps! You know, the bathtub-slosh theory! It's been awfully hot in the west this summer!![]()
Don't you remember? The water froze in Siberia and then melted down the drain without ever returning! Just have to wait for the tub to fill up again right? Maybe we will have a dam appear and hold the cold air here once it gets here.I'm still waiting on last winter's slosh

That's how they do , look good for us 3-5 days out, then ---- the bed as we get close! I'm not sure when this crap is supposed to start in TX, but if it's 7 days away , it will verify and be under done most likely!Pretty disappointing how the models went from potentially decent rain event to bathtub fart in the matter of a few days. I'm clinging to the 18z rgem

wut? There has been a definite SE shift in the long range track of the remnantsRockin the 40% chance of storms today. AFD says pops are lower than thought yesterday, shocking! They also said GFS is the only model that shunts the Harvey moisture towards the SE through day 7, rest show the stall over TX/LA, and may never impact the SE! The cool down looks legit and prolonged!
Just going by the GSP AFD . Wouldn't surprise me if moisture never got here and it just rains itself out over gulf coast states! I know the flow is fairly fast, but that's how we roll. Drought monitor should be a fairly big increase tomorrow in coverage and intensity!wut? There has been a definite SE shift in the long range track of the remnants
A stronger CAD because Harvey's low is pulling the air down. It adds more power to the wedge. Plus there isn't any sun those days from the clouds and rain Harvey produces.CAD. Not August like.
