I've got 90-95 highs all week! Oh the humanity! :)
 
Currently pouring atm...it had been a few days since it did but I saw about a half hour ago a pop up storm that was slowly blowing up toward me.
 
KATL's hottest this month has been 92 so far with an overall pretty close to normal forecasted for the next 2 week by model consensus as well as by the forecaster I follow closely. That suggests no longlasting extreme heat in the SE US through 7/23. KATL only hitting 90 for its hottest through 6/30 bodes well for keeping extreme heat out the rest of the summer per analogs. You can probably thank the wet soils for being a major contributor to this though humidity will probably not be pleasant!
 
Those Euro rainfall maps look like it makes a tropical moisture swath, across FL and recurve NE into GA and the Carolinas! I hope this happens because JHS says it will take a tropical storm to end his drought! :)

OMG!!!! Everybody check out the CFSv2 for JFM of 2018!! Really awesome look! I know it's never right, but this " heatwave" needs something to cool us off and this will do the trick!! If it was even close to being right! JB posted it on FB awhile ago!! It's eye candy for most of SE and dream scenario for the CAD regions!! :)

It's thundered here since basically late afternoon but I don't really think I'll end up getting dumped on like I did yesterday. Storms all around, haven't gotten one right on my area though (but there is one that is literally probably walking distance away lmao).

Well I was wrong...dumped on again like yesterday.
 
Crazy storm just sitting N of GSP! Just stationary and about only game in miles! Just close enough for me and JHS to enjoy light show and no rain! :(

Hottest day of the year yesterday at 90.7! No rain for two days now, longest stretch of dry weather in several weeks. Looks like that will change tomorrow.
 
Looks like both waves out in the ATL are now dumpster fires, with no chance of development according to NHC! There goes JHS's chances at a drought - buster! :(
 
Yes GFS is loco.... all hail the king (I hope, looks like Euro has a ULL during that time explains cooler temps). This the GFS will prob get right

More bad news, JB is suggesting a true heat wave next month . Poor JHS
