Florida and North Carolina are 100% drought free, and South Carolina is 99.9% drought free. NW Alabama needs some more rain, and most of Georgia still needs a good soaking, and then we will be free! However, the Northern Plains appear to be drying out now. Their drought has developed into an extreme drought over the last 3 months.

Got a surprise 2.21" of rain this afternoon that created havoc across the area. Many streets and highways flooded out. Majority of this was received in an hour or so. It was insane!! Curb height is about 3" and it was over it and pushing into yards. Thankfully my house is way up on a steep hill!!

Finally, a radar that Shetley and I can approve! Time sensitive , but right now is the best looking radar in months!!!!!

Raining buckets here again. FFC is stating that we are getting more rain than expected, with 1 - 2 inches expected.

If we can squeeze out about 1/2" before midnight, we'll have an all time June record down here, and that is with no tropical storm.
