Hrrr brings in a nice cluster of storms later into CLT, think given the shortwave ridge eroding today, and 1000-2000 jkgs of MLcape, its possible
Let's hope it holds and the CLT split doesn't occur.

Yup. Always. It has to be something in relation to CLT's elevation and soils. It happens far too often for it not to be scientific.
Wonder given the increasing 850mb shear if we can get more organized cool pools going later, add the impressively high Dcape we’re going to get later 
Quite a bit of DCAPE out there, as cape increases wouldn’t surprise me if we start dealing with a few wet microbursts, also some weak (20kts) of effective bulk shear

It really has been a year, that was one heck of a storm
There they are 
I remember driving around the area and there were trees down everywhere in the area. Tree's on houses, especially in Myers Park/Elizbeth area.

Likely some damaging downbursts winds with this storm, up to 60mph winds based off velocity, good signal to with a 60+ dbz core, get ready @Jimmy Hypocracy

Storms slowly weakening. One more chance tomorrow then a long way out for anymore chances. Probably no real chance after tomorrow until after the July 4 holiday.
Tell them you know me. Don’t let them think they know more than we do. We are helping them. Make bold decisions and warn the public in advance. Put to note you have tropical tidbit access too.
Surprised no watch issued given the widespread storms over eastern VA into north/eastern NC. Multiple warnings with some beasts.

I would... LOL. Gaston County seems to have the majority of the warnings in the metro. Maybe terrain plays a factor.
Me thinks we are going to end up with a forward propagating line or clusters tomorrow in this area. Might end up as a fairly decent wind day across the area

I am sorry I keep on complaining, but this is just asinine that my area of Charlotte can't even get a rumble of thunder. Everyday. It never fails. It's all good, I am hoping to move soon, so maybe my luck will change.
