Severe Severe Threat April 5th-7th

Northern Georgia could end up without a big severe problem . You can literally watch the radar and watch the storms slowly die once they get about 50 miles inside of Georgia

That one near Carroll county is bugging me. Pointed right at me.

East Georgia also probably won't have a severe problem. South Georgia is in for it but even some areas of central GA are going to end up escaping seeing all that much major weather.

Hopefully my house makes it. I was very nervous about that when I left last night.

I know its early but pretty much the whole state has escaped this day barring much in the way of tornadoes, which is a good thing, but I sure expected much more. Still plenty of time, but the storms have struggled today.

Looks like the storm coming south of Carrollton has lost its severe warning.

Someone on the other board thought that it might have to be rewarned but I guess not.

Wonder if the CAPE finally tries to make a push after this rain pulls out of here but it might be too late for anything significant to happen here. Monday is going to end up being more than today and that's a little surprising.

It's possible but time is running out. Sunset in less than an hour. The cell behind that one just went warned, still in Alabama.

idk that the sun going down really matters in this case. It does in a lot of cases in what I've observed (a lot of times, I've seen major thunderstorms in the western part of the state, sun goes down, and goodbye storms) but this might not be the case.

It won't really matter if the wedge holds though. The wedge is often underestimated and it was again here. No shame for SPC because of this. This really looked bad if you didn't consider the wedge.
