It’s a joke Barry bonds isn’t in and probably never will be. Simply the best hitter power / contact I’ve ever seen.

Also, remind me why again they decided to rely on a 36 year old reliever being able to stay healthy, a tommy john warrior, and a shoulder problems guy as 3 major pieces in the pen?

You’re not wrong. I didn’t like Barry Bonds very much, but he was a great hitter. The steroid era is an unfortunate speed bump for those stars. I really like Mark McGwire. He was my favorite hitter to watch. Probably the most intimidating stance and swing in the game.
 
Give me a Hank Aaron, Andruw Jones, Otis Nixon outfield (fit em in)

Chipper, Jeff Blauser, Lemke, Freeman, C-Lopez

Rotation: Maddux, Glavine, Smoltz, Avery

Bullpen: Wohlers, Smoltz (yeah again), John Rocker, Billy Wagner
 
I was fortunate enough to go to 2 World Series games in '95. The first one I went to was Maddux pitching and then I saw Glavine in the final game when they won it all!

And yeah, 1998 was awesome. SportsCenter was good back then too. It sucks so bad now, compared to the 90s.

Maybe 130 wins? I was also torn because I loved Jeff Blauser growing up. I think I was drawn to the trademark chin! BUT I was also a huge fan of Rafael Furcal. Just so many good Braves players..
 
Also loved Neon Deion.. funny story @Rain Cold I have a old scrap book at my dads house and one page is of a Braves game I went to during the inaugural turner field season and it has like 25 polaroids of David Justice standing in the outfield lmao I filled a whole throw away camera full of blurry David Justice pictures and I don’t regret it!
 
Can we have wrestlers on the team? I’d like to see Rick Flair pitching and Lex Luger on 1st, hawk behind the plate!???

Awesome. I have a few blurry Ken Griffey Jr. pix from way back in the day. And I have so many baseball, basketball, and football card. I mean like big bins full. Started buying them back in the early 90s.

I'm not condoning anything but, all the steroids in the world aren't going to help me or anyone else make contact with a 95 mph fastball.... Yeah that era was unfortunate but I sure did like to see those Big Mac dingers
