Wintry Winter Final Grade

C- for the RDU area.

8.9" of snow in December is amazing, but I cannot give an above average grade when we went all of January and February without a snowflake. Just a few sleet pellets mixed in with a few cold rain events. Our coldest temperature all winter was 17 degrees F, which was our warmest coldest low of the past 6 years.

For eastern NC, it's probably an F. For western NC, it may even be a C+/B-. For the Deep South, it's likely a definite F.

It was so hard to see a flake of snow this winter. Had to take a picture of the few snowflakes I had seen so my friends would not think I was drinking again. ------------------------------------------------------.......

F didn't see a flake here all winter really sad

F... saw a few minuscule flurries here and in Chattanooga last week. Actually saw snow on the ground over an inch in Belmont NC when I went in December to my grandmother’s funeral.

I forgot to comment on the winter that never was. This by far was worse than any winter in recent history up there with 2012. Hype and crappy weather models didn't help either. F all the way here.

An ugly F in N AL. I saw a few flakes on evening, in the air. But that's it. Not even a good cold snap to speak of. Solidly above normal on temps nearly wall to wall. Don't rest in peace Winter 2019, just get out.

Any LSU fans on here today... your team is not available today. They got chomped by the Gators yesterday!!!
