Here’s a really good explanation of tonight’s multiple possibilities as far as snow goes in Middle Tennessee. It’s also a reminder of how hard it can be to forecast snow in this part of the country.

Here’s some more information for us Middle Tennessee folks on tonight’s event. Winter weather advisory is only about 20 minutes drive away from me. I won’t be shocked if they put one up for the White House area at some point today.

Have you flipped to snow yet? WPC puts me at a 70% of seeing an inch of snow tonight. Temps dropping like rock now!
Yes it is 29 degrees now. Snow started about 90 minutes ago. Very windy also.
Snowing moderately in Paris TN. Dusting so far.
34 degrees , 15-20 mph wind and very light snow falling here. It's blustery out.
It’s 36 here and temps falling at a good clip. 3 degrees in the last hour. The wind is howling too.
Amazing outside right now... about 1" snow, still falling light/moderate. Just drove around town. 29 degrees and roads are as wet as if it were pouring rain. Over 1" of rain today and 57 degrees before the temp started falling. 24 is forecast low tonight. May be an icy mess in the morning, but for now, road is still warm.
My daughter saw an mping of snow in Whitehouse just a bit ago. Are you seeing any?
3 inches on the ground so far. Temp is 28 and wind is howling. We have had near white out conditions at times. Roads are really bad.
