Pattern October Oscitance

Today was the first truly AMAZING fall day. High only got to 72 here. Dew points stayed in the lower 40s through the day. I just can't get enough of this great weather. Tonight we're supposed to get down to 46 for the first time since April. :)

Its been so amazing going outside and its not humid or hot... And no heat in sight

Back to back picture perfect days.

I'm usually not a fan of the sun lol, but its been really interesting after all this rain here

Already down to 36. House is creaking. Clear skies. Might shave 2 or 3 more off

Edit: Wunderground station says 39, weatherbug station says 36. Which is more reliable? Both cannot be right

I got down to 30°. Love living outside the city on nights like last night.

First frost of the season in Carrollton, GA this morning. Reading of 37 from vehicle lol.

34.2 this morning, quite frosty! Sitting at 60.4 so far this afternoon. Absolutely loving this new weather station... first time I've ever had one that didn't report inaccurate temps in direct sunlight!

What weather station?

I also wouldn't be surprised if there was a little bit of snow up in the MTNS in NC with this system coming in later this week.
Was thinking the same thing..... Looks like a higher elevation event. Mitchell, Beech and Sugar for instance,

Super Heavy Frost this morning. Growing season is officially over.
Managed to save my tomatoes, despite 32 degree temps. I have them planted right beside the house and covered them up. It's only a matter of time until the cold gets them, but I always try to save them right up until the bitter end.

39 this morning after 32 the morning before. Still waiting on the leaves to pop.

It’s not being talked about but I am looking at a possibility of a few spin up tornadoes along the wedge boundary in Carolinas Thursday night and Friday. If we gets break in clouds and unstable south of boundary it’s not out the question.
