Pattern December, Make analogs relevant again

This is going to be a very cold and suppressed run, and we are getting into lala land now. Either way, GFS has spoken, stronger than before in some cases:

Well I guess Siberia will come to visit and refuse to leave per crazy GFS.

The trough gets tilted towards the west coast near the end of the run. Strange look. If that lala land look verified you could get a decent CAD event if the high stayed put over PA longer before pushing east

GFS basically has no resolution this far out, so that's likely what's happening. OR the trough is going to cut off into a bowling ball half the size of the united states and cause the end of the world as we know it. I kid, I kid.. or do i?

If I were from Virginia, Northward right now into the NE, I would be absolutely ecstatic about this first push and a chance at a well-rounded snow storm within 200 hours of modeling. Baby steps guys!

got admitt... i did like the 12zgfs... mainly like the position of the trough... ticked it back west just more tad... allow a system to develop... things kep this up... i like were we r heading.... color me excited finally... lol

Awaiting SD's reaction, to see if I should should be excited!

the h5 pattern was much better on the 12zgfs run... think someone on this board has great chance scoring before christmas if that keeps up
Yeah I agree, it's unlikely that a big dog will happen but if everything goes well some of us might see a minor snow or ice event. Most likely that someone will be towards your neck of the woods imo
