Models

Pivitol Weather - Models and soundings. Probably the best free site I've found.

http://www.pivotalweather.com

Twisterdata - About the same as Pivitol Weather but with less detail. Has some parameters that PW doesn't.

http://www.twisterdata.com

NCEP model page - some people prefer the old school things.

http://mag.ncep.noaa.gov

HRRR NOAA site - official site of the HRRR.

https://ruc.noaa.gov/hrrr/

OBs

SPC Mesoanalysis mobile page - OBs and parameters of surface and upper air. A must use for nowcasting. Note most of the parameters are off the RAP and may be off a tad. The link to the full page is at the top/left.

http://www.spc.noaa.gov/exper/mesoanalysis/new/mobile.php

Tropical cyclone heat potential - tells you how much energy is in the water for use by tropical cyclones. Calculated by temperature and depth of that temperature.

Satellite pages

GHCC interactive imagery - interactive satellite shots of the Atlantic and Pacific. A must of hurricane tracking.

This is a great way to share source info! I'm wondering - is there a way we can add to it by category and keep it on one page (sorta like Wikipedia edits or something?). I have several unique links I'd like to share but would like folks to know what they are for (e.g., MJO, teleconnections, free Euro, seasonal models, location specific details (set to your own), wind maps ....) so that finding several alternative links, by some sort of categorization, would be easy and user friendly.

This is such a great idea; hope it doesn't get so strung out no one can quickly locate what they're looking for :~(

PS - Given my location, I have a bunch of tropical stuff that may be of interest later this year.
