TCHP is very high on average in that region.
140kts and looks to be making that SW turn which should allow it to tonclear all populated areas for now
This is one bizarre track. Check out the nearly completely opposite turn! Of course will probably be a lot weaker by then 
Gfs looks like it wants to really kick the wpac into high gear. Has a sub 940mb making a run at the southern Japan islands and eventually landfall into China.
Man if the gfs is right the new soon to be typhoon is gonna stall for 4-5 days just barely east of Taiwan. If it's close enough to produce rain some places could really see some serious rain totals.
Ishigakijima Island in store for a high end cat 4 hit from Muija in a couple days. Looks awesome right now and I wouldn't be surprised if it trends stronger over the next 24 hours.
Wpac at it again as I'm sure by the sat presentation the new typhoon will be approaching Super typhoon status after undergoing RI.
