Tropical TS Gordon

Could become TS Gordon soon. As of now likely to never get close to land before a possible threat to the Azores per 12Z and earlier model runs including ensembles. Regardless, it will be interesting to see whether or not it produces much ACE.
 
The latest NHS discussion isn't very bullish about the future of this system. If any significant development were to occur it might be when it moves into a more favorable environment several days from now. Right now, upper layer shear is having its way and it will move into dryer air that will put a cap on intensification for now.
