That area has been the place to be for severe weather this spring. It's been really quite around here as far as severe storms go.
 
The National Weather Service in Little Rock has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Logan County in western Arkansas...

* Until 1000 AM CDT

* At 910 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Magazine, or
near Booneville, moving northeast at 35 mph.

This is a very dangerous storm. Baseball sized hail is approaching
the communities of Driggs and Paris. If you are in the path of this
dangerous storm...you need to seek a safe shelter from large hail
immediately!

HAZARD...Baseball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured.
Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs,
siding, and vehicles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

Prepare immediately for large hail and deadly cloud to ground
lightning. Seek shelter inside a well-built structure. Stay away from
windows.

First Tornado Warning of the day just south and east of Russellville Ark.
 
The moderate risk is gonna be the area to watch over the coming hours

Slight has been extended about 100 miles eastward and now includes Birmingham. Spann says tornado threat overnight isn't high but a strong tornado can't be ruled out.
 
Wouldn't be shocked to see the stuff in S Arky try to try tornadic

The cap is holding strong today. Latest MCD from SPC is downplaying the current watch too...... Tornado threat appears to be dimishing with this system
