The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Marginal risk for severe weather this thursday. Downgraded from a large slight risk area. & And most model guidance has latched onto the idea of several rounds of convection during this period. Some of the storms are expected to be strong to most likely severe across large area of region.
The Weather Prediction Center will also be monitoring a large portion of the area for potential flash flooding due to several rounds of heavy rain and thunderstorms. Conditons appear favorable enough too warrant a marginal and slight risk area for thursday and friday. It appears the main threats will be damaging winds to 60 mph small hail, lightning & and flash flooding.
