March 2026 - Winter or Spring?

In all fairness, March is normally a spring month. But this time it was more like late spring than the more typical early spring.
Every Spring I can count on a dozen work day rainouts. Not this one. Crunchy

Second warmest March in 11 year period of record for my station. Approximately 5 degrees above average.

I'm a bit late, but here's March 2026. 2nd warmest on record, behind only 2012 -- quite the turnaround after a polar winter. Had severe thunderstorms and a powerful cold front that sent temps down 40+°F in a matter of hours on the 12th. Later on saw ups and downs due to backdoor cold fronts and pulses of warmth moving in from the Plains.
