I know the peeps here have something else on their minds but here (SAV) we're about to get blasted by a line of heavy thunderstorms at 1:30 AM on a January night after a record tieing high of 79!

 You're on the northern part of the same line just blasting through here. And when I say blasted I mean blasted with strong winds, very heavy rains leading to street flooding, and two VERY close CTG lightning strikes. This is unreal for January. Wow!

Another foggy morning. Denser than the past several days. Rain from overnight has stopped, but at least we have had a great start to the rain this year.

Noticed that RDU set a daily rainfall record yesterday with 1.08 inches..... some very nice rainfall totals thus far with these two current systems.
