A couple of more shifts on the GFS like we just had brings this into the Carolinas. I see this shifting south and east for now though.
It's a long shot, but what if this massive forecasted hurricane phases with the deep trough coming in? 1950 vibes.

If there's any good news the front should sweep it east pretty quickly past the Caribbean

At the very least this storm is going to be an ACE merchant stumbling around rocket fuel for a few days. History says that November US landfalls are extremely rare, but also think that's precisely the type of even that climate change raises the odds on so who's to say.
