Increasing gas prices should help in lowering planet warming consumption.

I'm sure all the temperatures stations have gotten more concrete built-up around in the past 20 years and they ever have before too.Dated, but a lot of scientists and publications now sounding the alarm on this. Its no longer just the Al Gores of the world.
Yes, that contributes to warming as well.I'm sure all the temperatures stations have gotten more concrete built-up around in the past 20 years and they ever have before too.
The sea is not going to rise much in the next 100 years. Plenty of time to adapt. Also, you need the ice on land to melt into the oceans and that's not happening.I mean the bill itself will get expensive. Quite a bit of tax revenue to be generated. It will cost us.
And what I meant by warmth costing us is sea level rise. If goes as projected, its another cost we cant afford.
Projections are 1ft by 2050 and 3-7ft by 2100. And that's with a lot of uncertainty due to feedbacks that could make it much more. The only way to adapt would be abandonment. The sea is not going to rise much in the next 100 years. Plenty of time to adapt. Dude, who builds anything expected to last more than a few years at elevation of 7 feet? Besides, you can build further inland as we go forward in time, and demolish structures at the beach and river banks as needed. Call me when we are talking about 50 foot rise in water.Projections are 1ft by 2050 and 3-7ft by 2100. And that's with a lot of uncertainty due to feedbacks that could make it much more. So Greenland has been gaining ice mass over the past few years. Greenland actually gained ice mass during the summer this year, a very rare occurrence.
Also check out the graph for 2016-2017, for example...
And the period of lost mass seems to be turning around, too...
Do the global warming models predict this
Still waiting on our first foot but you keep on worrying !Projections are 1ft by 2050 and 3-7ft by 2100. And that's with a lot of uncertainty due to feedbacks that could make it much more. The only way to adapt would be abandonment.
There's been a one foot rise since 1880 and another foot or more by 2050 so it is a slow process on human time scales but will and has already greatly increased storm surge and sunny day flooding events.Still waiting on our first foot but you keep on worrying !
Most beach front property is raised up on pylons. Why is that, I wonder? There's been a one foot rise since 1880 and another foot or more by 2050 so it is a slow process on human time scales but will and has already greatly increased storm surge and sunny day flooding events.
Well they wont abandon for a hurricane so I doubt most owners would for a inch or so increase.Projections are 1ft by 2050 and 3-7ft by 2100. And that's with a lot of uncertainty due to feedbacks that could make it much more. The only way to adapt would be abandonment.
