Will blue catfish hit chicken liver like channels do ? Curious. I have caught a **** ton of channels on it. It’s hard to find shad around here

I feel like blue cats like a little more fresh bait! Like cut shad and will even eat live bait. I saw you say shad were hard to get, you need to get a casting net and go near the damn or something and catch your own shad and or shiners. I’ve caught some big blues and channels off of a small bream live and or just the head , out of the south fork river

I caught a big one on a doughball in lake Weiss on my daughter’s Zebco. One hell of a fight when you are expecting some small channels.

Nice Sheepshead, is that JM’s? Only concrete pier that I was aware of in my time on that part of the coast. Although things can and do change!

Back in my tournament days, this was on Kerr and caught 15 min apart mid lake a 5.5 and 6.5. I haven’t wet a line in over 2 years now.

Yeah that's JM. Lots of fish around the pilings but not biting too good today.
