Going with a strong cold front coming into the SE on the 14th. First to get the cold will be Nashville down to Birmingham; then Atlanta on the 15th; then Greenville to Charlotte to Raleigh on the 16th (..as the high build in). Dallas will have to wait until a new trough drops down after the first of November. Then Columbia after the trough gets back to the SE. **lol, feel like the Farmers Almanac

Atlanta has gotten like 10 freezes total last 5 years combined ( over exaggeration but pretty damn close).

Its true, Atlanta’s winter temps are closer to the averages of Portland or San Francisco over the past several years. With the amount of rain, influence from the gulf, and UHI, our winters are closer to maritime ??

But Portland's winters are on average cooler than Atlanta's. Portland's average January high is 47.

I know, I was mostly joking, but looking at the average temperature of both highs and lows together, and the fact Portland’s average low is never below freezing.

Portland:42
Atlanta:43

Bump, but seriously, are there any major cities that we can take off of this list yet? It may be December for most.
