ITS SNOWING! Getting some small snow flurries now. Temperature has gone up to 32.5.
New batch of precipitation moving in and getting a mix of rain and snow. Temperature has shot up to 37.

I slept through it happening but the evidence is still around that we had some fat flakes. Looked to be nice quarter sized and would've been cool to see fall.
I think I missed a few flakes this morning, band moved right over head, wife seen some FB post of neighbors said saw some snow. Well dang

Good morning from snowy Maggie Valley y’all. About 3 inches fell. After breakfast and after I check out the motel I’m gonna see if I can get up to Soco mountain.

Lasted maybe 10 minutes, just small flakes falling very slowly. 4th snow event we've had since 1/31

Mulch and wood surfaces white here, also can see it on some roofs in W-S as I came in to work at 7:45

Not sure why it’s sideways but we’ve got an inch or two on the ground south of avl.
Radar had a small band of 30-35 Dbz cross over your area around 2:30. Probably happened then.

Soco mountain just up rd from Maggie Valley. I would guess about 5-6 inches. This trip was my way of saying farewell to winter until December
leaving a winter wonderland makes me sad. But the sun is bright and melting it. It was a great Trip! Making memories with my little boys.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The pavement was fairly wet by the time I got up to get a biscuit. Something must have gone down but I was too tired to see.
