What causes these models to differ so much? Like the difference between the Canadian, Euro and the GFS today? Do they all gather their own different info? How about flipping and flopping between runs for the same models. What causes that?

Learning Difference in weather models

The have all kinds of different programming, resolutions, initialization parameters. Very different. You notice it worse on the GFS because they run it 4 times a day.
