Pattern August Rush 2020

It is 66 degrees here right now with a dewpoint of 62. It feels great outside.... first time below 70 since July 9.

Not much on radar but it is raining a bit harder than I expected this morning. Must be under the radar beam.

Welp, I think we can pretty much say that we should be able to enter Fall without any sort of drought. We have had so much rainfall over the last 2 weeks. I know October is generally one of our driest months, but with the upcoming forecast looks more promising for more rainfall. I have never seen the grass/tree's this green in a long time. And with how active the tropics are expected to get, I can imagine that at some point someone on this board is going to get hit with a tropical system at some point.

SER in September now....

Still only 72°. I don't really need to mow, but I am anyways.

I need to, but the yard is soaked from yesterday's rain, so there isn't any need in trying. I'll probably have to wait until the evening later on this week when it's 85 and the dew point is in the 70s.

October flash drought of 20** would like to have a word with you

Is there anyone on here thats gonna finish below average in rainfall other than me? Smh GSP averages 13.5 for summer and I think most across the south would be similar averages. I'm at 9.4 now. Not a chance I get 4 inches ( without a tropical system) in two weeks to finish average. Not horrible amounts, but definitely disappointing being below average in an overall wet summer for most.

So tomorrow is looking dry and if it doesn't rain that breaks my streak at 12 days in a row with some rain.

Watch those storms later tomorrow afternoon

Yeah I see them but I'm going with all good things have to end at some point. Any storms tomorrow will be extra icing on the cake.

We had a heck of a run the last 2 weeks.
