4/30 Severe

Some of these 18z 3k soundings. There are some decent detractors tomorrow and it's a conditional threat but if we can get into sun between the first wave of rain and the better forcing we should get a few decent storms around in the 1-4pm range

Some breaks downstream in the cloud deck but I dunno....models are still bullish with a couple of strong tornadic cells, the NAM further west with them the others further east....I got nothing to do so if one gets close I might go after it, they will be moving fast though....

Got a decent amount of SB Cape along and E Of US1Current Cape.png

These breaks in the clouds are going to make the afternoon interesting

Overall still looks fairly garden variety, but its trying to get there......already a few embedded areas were it might be legit severe......might see some big hail if anything can get semi discrete....

This is stout....

Dropped 16 degrees in 16 minutes with that line, 77.4 at 330, 61.0 at 345. Weather station recorded a max gust of 43.4 and it is sheltered from a west wind by the house. Certainly over 50 with some limb damage. Best storm of the spring svr season, Friday night one was pretty good too.

Yeah not a bad couple of storms the last few days. This line came blasting through versus our typical watch it crawl east. Some limbs and trees down. Someone on ECU recorded a 60mph gust but doesn't specify on what device it was measured
