Put this in the wrong thread. Slight risk expanded a bit to include the Atlanta metro on the afternoon update
3K NAM has a supercell coming down 75 tomorrow evening in the weenie 18z run
I’m pretty curious to see what SPC does tonight. HRRR and 3k NAM are consistent on having at least one UH track somewhere through North Georgia.
I feel like they have to expand the 2% tornado to include the Atlanta metro. Honestly the storm motion and how it could be one or two lone supercells reminds me of the set up for the 2008 Atlanta tornado downtown. Not saying that will happen of course, but if I recall correctly from a video I watched, that took place on a 2% tornado day.

At the very least, could see some big hail and that’s not something we see too often
The worst is right over my house. Hopefully it is wrong.
Andrew Brady who has done good work on the AI model side shared this tweet and his AI model STORM-NET has a high risk of large hail tomorrow evening across North Georgia

I'm expecting this hail threat to be like the previous several severe risk overlays... amounting to nothing.
Probably not going to be crazy for the majority of people. Latest trends on the CAM's seem to be more clusters instead of supercells. Imagine we may get a Severe Thunderstorm Watch later but probably will just depend on how things develop upstream.
Certainly doesn't feel like Severe weather outside haha 73/41 in Atlanta right now and it's a lovely day

That storm just missed my parents by a couple miles. They still waiting on a new roof from the tornado they had.
Skies darkening up here. Pretty good cell swinging through should miss to my south
Typical. Everything getting shredded as it moves east into the upstate
51 with a thunderstorm a few miles to my west headed this way.

The storms have moved around Atlanta so far. I usually get aggravated when we miss out but if the hail is as big as being warned about, I welcome it.

So, I went through the storm in South Fulton, GA and the hail was pea size and really no wind. The lightning was the main show with them cluster of storms. My car says that the air temp is 57 degrees now. I wonder will the storm up north hold it's severe limits when it moves southeast. 
Not sure how big of hail I experienced near Alpharetta/Cumming. I would guess probably quarter sized. Was coming home from dinner and thought I had enough time to get where I was going but started hearing thuds on the roof of my car and pulled under a gas station awning and then about 50 other cars did the same thing lol. It really blew up right on top of me
So far I'm lucking out here. I'm changing Home Owners insurance effective at midnight! The last thing I want is hail damage tonight, lol.

In the second round and all HAIL broke loose.! This is packing a nasty punch! Had to park at the Walmart cause it got bad!
