This caught me by surprise as the lowest in my area the last 2 days was 70 and the lowest I saw anywhere at major non-mountain locations in SC and GA was 67!

1.05" today and 51.5 degrees! A beautiful morning! I'm very pleased with the performance of this little system. Euro had it right from 144 hours out.

I noticed today, as I have several other times, that the official temp at the airport was noticeably warmer than Bessemer, a city joining it to the west. bham was 61, and bess was 56. I decided to look at individual sites on Wundermap, and there was a site 1 block from the airport and it was 57. The sky is overcast, and all the reading in the county were between 53 and 58. It is things like this that make me doubt the accuracy of our supposed official temps that dictate global warming! 3 or 4 degrees here and there can skew your average!
