3k nam is trying to show a nice upstate band. Wherever that sets up a couple inches should fall

Venture to say the GFS will be improved over 18z and likely 12z. Let’s see if others from the 0z suite follow. We are still 48hrs out and this is volatile to say the least.

The surprise potential is at its highest when these leeside bands start showing up. You never know where they’re going to be honestly. Even up until the event. Someone’s getting snow that isn’t expecting it.

Well I’m fairly certain that this run of the NAM was the first to use sampling data taken since the energy came ashore… let’s see what the other 0z runs do… no way they can be as good as that
Hard for the GFS to be worse. Hope you're right. Glad to see the Nam still sees the possibility of this blowing up sooner.
