One thing I've noticed though this year is the abundance of wild flowers. The woods of North-Central AL are beautiful.

The Asters along my creek are more beautiful than normal.

My red maples aren't very yellow/red this year. Kinda turning into a dirty burgundy color and falling off.

Also I was promised some El Niño rain shenanigans. The dust is outrageous and ponds have dried up again.

Yeah virtually 0” rain through the end of every model run. I’m running my drip irrigation every day on these new green giants I planted. I’ll drown them before I let them dry out
