56 this morning, desert weather continues. Feels great though
I took advantage of the low dewpoints and comfortable temperatures this morning to do some yardwork. It got down to 58 degrees this morning. There was no breeze at first but now there is one stirring outside. I hope Monday can give some of us a shot at some more rain.
Now it is time to go spoil my wife some more. It's my 24th wedding anniversary.

Seems the trend is to look wet in the mid range only to watch those chances evaporate. Like I say in winter time it's tough to bet against seasonal trends. Now the gfs pushes any appreciable rain imby past 144hrs.
Exactly 0 eps members support the idea but the 18z icon, 12k, rgem like the wound up mcv rolling across the state tuesday. Looks like the 18z AI euro might be a nod toward yes
The super el nino of winter 96-97 @ Greensboro yielded slightly BN temps DecJan and a notch AN forFeb. AN qpf all 3 months.
GSO recorded frozen precip on 8 seperate calendar days throught the 90 day span and 0 for March.
Biggest snow accum for 1 day was 2.1.my hunch is a lot of mixedbags at onset over to rain as SS crashes midlevels.

The Fall of 96 . @GSO Nov was -5.6 BN and we had 2 seperate frozen precip events. Minor but hey. Made the total 10 for 96-97 super elnino.
Oct and Sept average BN temps as well. With all 3 months averaging AN qpf. 3.5-4 inches qpf per month from Sept - March. BN temps from Sept - Jan. Before Feb ended up half degree AN.

Not a bad setup overall over the next 36 hours, someone is going to win big the drought will continue for others. That mcv tomorrow timed correctly could be a massive W. Good luck

Only a 2 inch difference between the two for mby lol.
Similar to Winter, go with the model that is showing the least amount of precipitation. At least during this drought, hope I’m wrong.

Yep. It missed me one county to the north. Meanwhile, Mt. Airy gets another good soaking after getting 4" on Thursday.

I finally got a good storm! 1.3"
0.00 thankfully tomorrow has a chance. Starting to think June ends up as another sub 1 inch month. Heawave this weekend into next week is going to be lit since that's about all we do these days

Raleigh NWS says you want need charcoal this Saturday for the cookout. Wx will supply your needs. Sat looks to be the hottest by a degree or two. But the heat gets cranked up for multiple days. Not much diff in 93-95 verse 100 imo.

2.5 inches this weekend, 0.9 combined in three events over the past 24 hours. Progress. Like to catch a few fells later this week and keep closing that gap…

Had .40 in the backyard yesterday so that helps but they had 1.5" a mile away lol.....today looks fun. Been a long time since I have seen back to back days with rain and thunder.
