Failed in SW wake county so far. Hoping for redemption tomorrow.
Over .6 at RDU so far. I actually see puddles. Weird.
Overnight Euro is a furnace LR Day 10-15. Hang in there: Met Fall starts in roughly 70 days
We are back! After 12 hours of having no electricity, Duke came to the house and had to reset the fuse for the pole. Caused by "equipment going offline"Welp, it happened. Lost power until 12am.

I think for yesterday, we received 2.9" through 3 good storms, but I will never know for sure since the gauge was knocked over.
I used an AI map since I will never believe that the first two storms were recorded correctly due to the gauge knock over.

2.91” is the final total from the last 24 hours. Around a foot of rain since May 1st. Pretty big turnaround.
.04 juuusstt a bit outside of the forecast.
From several showers and a severe thunderstorm, I received ~1.75” yesterday. That put me then at ~3.80” MTD.
I received more rain overnight of varying intensities and it’s still falling very lightly with constant rain since late last night. I’ll post the total for this later. It will be >0.5”.
No more watering for at least awhile!
Edit: Thu night into early Fri PM I ended up with ~0.55”, which then put me at ~4.35” MTD.

This is pretty good for the end of June here
58 degrees this morning. Feels great, especially since we're right at the summer solstice. But (always a but), these low dew points are helping keep the needed summer thunderstorms from developing. Maybe the long-range models are correct this time and things are heading back to "normal" (humidity, QPF, temps, etc.).

I had the best storm in a long time last week. Lots of loud thunder and lightning. Wasn't under a watch, though. Let's see if I can actually get one when under a watch.
Had a Nice T-storm roll through last night. Picked up .35. Some may score one again this morning early afternoon.

Crazy. Yeah we've had a few but May was almost totally dead
.26 yesterday, finally hitting 1" for the month but this afternoon looks promising
