Yeah man the last 13-14 months have been about as bad as it gets, I thought missing the big snow in Jan was going to be the peak but no no we were just getting started.

Yeah 92 on Oct. 14th, extreme drought rolls on.... we've reached next level suckage for sure. I'm not 100% sure this super el Nino is gonna deliver the precip as expected either, only because no one and no models have really ever dealt with one of this nature before.

Might have missed that 90 today at RDU. Either way, DPs in the low 60's/upper 50's make that near 90 a little more tolerable.

The highest I saw at RDU today was 89 degrees. It was not the 90 that many people were thinking might happen, but it still shattered the temperature record for this date. We get another chance to set the record for the latest 90 degree day in the year tomorrow.

I was about to say...all this way and stall out at 89 is a slap in the face.

For old times sake... I for one am going to miss it, sure it had its biases, but it was the gold standard around here for a couple decades sniffing out boundary layer issues in the home stretch.
