@ shaggy: "Get out there and enjoy the wx, its the only wx you got." Approaching mid Octeober and folks still taking a dip in the big pond off NC Coast. Not something you see every year

We need your insight for where the dry slot will set up with Isaias.

Hats off to my stepdaughter who developed a strong interest in tropical weather recently! She is tracking her first hurricane with Isaias and we are both keeping tabs on its progress. She works with me so it has helped break the monotony of the usual work routine having something we are both interested in to talk about. She will not be like the person who made the following post on Facebook.

I was truly hoping that this would affect metro ATL around 7a in the morning. I hate system that comes over night

I’n at roughly 4500 feet near banner elk. Do not like the trends lately. Would y’all head out tomorrow morning with the high winds and chance of flooding?

I'm not sure if it's age or what, but it's gotten to where I can't help but notice flicker in LED bulbs around the house when glancing or turning my head. Can't see it looking straight on. I've tried various big box store brands and they all seem to do the same. On a whim I threw 3 old appliance style incandescent 40w bulbs into the two living room lamps and one in the dining room. No more flicker and this old house seems to come to life with that incandescent glow. I think I'm hooked.

It may add a dollar or so to the light bill heading into the darker months but that's okay. The physical warmth from the light really helps. Still have LEDs in the ceiling fan and overhead light to eat with when we need the brightness.

User on the Roblox WX server still says the base is preparing for 140 MPH winds from the storm.

I need more information on this Roblox WX server. I'll allow my son extra time on his devices if its weather related entertainment lol.
