Misc This Means WAR

Iran shoulld just reject every desperate deal Trump proposes now. They know he will not start up the war. All Iran needs to do now is sit and wait.

Why did crude oil futures rise $4.60 9:10-10:00AM EDT? Together with the evening $2 gap from Fri, it’s up nearly $7!

Edit: it’s because Iran said they’re suspending talks until Israel stops bombing Lebanon.

And with Trump on board with Israel/Hezbollah halting their fighting, crude has fallen back $2 during the last hour though it’s still up >$4 vs Friday:

Iran is aware of this as well. Trump is making decisions based solely on the futures markets. Trump is a turtle stuck on its back now with its legs helplessly flailing to get right side up.

Let me put it this way:You can bomb them into the Stone Age.
You can sink their entire navy.
You can turn their ghost air force into scrap metal.Doesn’t matter.Everyone knew that the regime doesn’t have the upper hand militarily.But...This is a MASSIVE moral and strategic victory for the Islamic Republic and its terrorist proxies. They survived the superpower’s wrath.
They are still standing.
And in the Islamists playbook in the region, survival is victory. The regime is winning the ultimate PR war: “We took hard punches from America and we’re still here.”That message is now echoing across the region and that is horrific.

Keep in mind that DT tends to admire strong and sometimes ruthless leaders. Examples: Kim, Putin, and Xi. Could that be playing a part in some of his decisions regarding the Iranian leadership? Opinions?

Depends on the end goal. If you are actively bleeding them out economically, you want Iran to stay "caged" until it the engine seizes and the car stops instead of swerving into a crowd.

The longer this drags, the better chance of actual regime change.

Actually the opposite. It gives Iran more time to execute any dissidents left alive, meanwhile our "allies" are scattering in all directions as they see Trump going belly up. Every day Iran gets stronger, chins sends weapons, Russia sends them weapons, they recover thier own weapons.

All of this 100% correct. In the end, Iran will get everything they want and maybe more. They will be much stronger if we end up having to attack them again and will probably get a nuclear weapon soon. Then it's goodbye Israel and hello WW3.

Then they are doomed. Russian and Chinese weapons definitely gave them a leg up when this started.

Maybe they can last more than a few hours on round two.
