Netanyahu might have a touch of TDS right now
Israel asked the White House for clarifications about President Trump's post that Israel was "prohibited" from conducting any more airstrikes in Lebanon, a U.S. source and another source familiar tell Axios. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his advisers were shocked by Trump's post, which contradicted the text of the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Lebanon that the State Department published on Thursday.
The implication of Trump's post — that he was issuing an order which Israel had no choice but to obey — would have been unthinkable under other U.S. administrations. Netanyahu was personally stunned and alarmed when he learned of the post, the sources said. The ceasefire is incredibly politically sensitive for Netanyahu, and his government has emphasized that it is not constrained from striking Hezbollah if necessary.

I mean in this case they have a better track record of posting truthful stuff. Who do you reckon all the tanker capts currently turning around believe more Trump saying its open or Iran saying its not.

I dont doubt that Iran says its open as least as long as all ships take the one lane they said was allowed after getting permission from Iran....probably for a hefty toll.
Seeing reports on social media that there are widespread explosions being reported in southern Lebanon but no confirmation.

It's more like a re-evaluation of decades of defense of Isreali actions against Gaza and the west Bank. It seems at times as if the lines have been significantly blurred on who are the terrorist. Is it the settlers cutting down Palestinian olive groves and stealing their land? Or is it the Palestinians fighting against that?
We've all been fed one side of the story for decades and now people are looking at both now.

Yeah seems like the strait is 100% closed again with no traffic being allowed to transit....a dozen or so did get through the last 24 hrs, keep in mind the normal daily traffic through the strait is over 150-200 vessels a day.

This kind of nonsense needs to be stopped now in Iran.
It’s understandable why many don’t want this war:
1. Trump campaigned for no new overseas wars over and over. Many of his former base are upset for good reason including MTG, Tucker, Bannon.
2. >100 Iranian school kids, other Iranians, some from other countries, and 13 Americans were killed with many others wounded.
2. It’s very costly at a time when we could use those $ for healthcare and other things for our citizens.
3. Gas rose >$1 and he campaigned on reduced inflation.
4. Trump didn’t even get approval from Congress. Even GW Bush did for Iraq.
5. Trump complained about us giving aid to Ukraine, which was literally attacked, because it was during Biden.
6. The evil Iranian regime is still intact. So, the Iranian citizens, who I feel bad for, are still no better off unfortunately.
7. Iran still has their uranium. Trump tore up the Iran Deal in 2018 and will be lucky to get Iran to agree to a similar deal anytime soon.
8. Trump even further down in the polls and is setting up an even worse trouncing of the GOP in Nov.

I mainly talking about people that spout off on here all these comments being anti-war or anything regarding Trump but then they tell us we should save this girl in Iran it makes no sense

If we were smart we would try and start a civil war. Trump should say the people he is talking to in Iran have agreed to arrest and execute the IRGC.
Don't forget that the IRGC is the ones who did this. They're testing Trump by doing the blockade. They know that his war approval ratings is down the toliet. You have a faction ("moderates") who are negoiating and the war-mongers (IRGC). Any resumption of fighting will further inflame tensions between that two factions. Heck the IRGC called the foreign minister a idiot.

100% agree with this. Iran will come out of this in much better shape than they were. I can see a scenario where they even get to keep their nuke program alive and get a weapon ready before too long.

It's not all about this one girl. Plenty of Iranians hate their govt and are doing the only thing they have the power to do trying to change it. The entire political power structure needs to be wiped out somehow. The country changed in 1979, and it needs to change again very soon.
