Yes, but the Dem lost by only 12%, not a good sign for the GOP. Fuller voiced support for the war, while Harris is opposed.

Well, I see that no one else sees your side of the story but I'm with you on most of it. Yes, Trump gave away too much by letting Iran control the strait and that 2 million toll for each ship through will only do 2 bad things. 1 is that Iran will use this to rebuild and become even stronger and 2 it'll keep oil prices higher than they should be. This also means all this fighting and loss of life was for absolutely nothing except making Iran that much stronger and making the US look weak.

In the end Iran will never give up their nuke program and they'll have a weapon within 2 years, if not much sooner and they'll most likely use it.

This much worse than I thought. Not only will they have the tolls, but they'll also have all sanctions gone, keep their nuke program and worst of all US bases in the region basically closed. This will be an unmitigated disaster if this stands.

Not saying you are wrong, but this exact thing happens every special election, every year. Look at total votes and turn out. The GOP does not turn out for special elections, especially ones that are short term. Comparing votes on a special election VS election day with a President on the ticket are literally comparing two different things.
 
I don't think most people understand what this means for the world. If we agree to all of this, we basically have abandoned Israel and the entire middle east. Iran will rebuild and then everyone in the region will have to turn to them with us out of the region. I guarantee once Iran does rebuild, they'll truly close the strait for good. They'll get their nuke and then they'll make their 1 great wish come true. Wiping Israel out.

The democrat last night won the Wisconsin Supreme court election by 20 points. 21 point swing from 2024. Midterms will be a disaster

This is the first war we have outright lost. We lost VietNam but that took 2 years from the peace deal.

We’ve seen enough data here that it’s going to be interesting to watch the Georgia votes data site here and key in on the more rural districts here in the fall and compare to 2022. I’m absolutely looking for some bounce back, but I doubt everyone returns at this point.

Definitely will be interesting, but right now trying to gauge off of special elections just doesn’t mean much if anything.

I expect the Democrats to take the midterms, as that is historically accurate.

There has never been such a political disaster in all of our history. Israel wasn't even at the table when decisions were made concerning the core of our national security.The military carried out everything that was asked of it, the public demonstrated amazing resilience, but Netanyahu failed politically, failed strategically, and didn't meet a single one of the goals that he himself set.It will take us years to repair the political and strategic damage that Netanyahu wrought due to arrogance, negligence, and a lack of strategic planning.
