Anyone who says right where we want it is getting a 1 way trip on the failboat being thrown into the sun too. This will either trend into a cutter or suppressed into oblivion because we have the worst luck

Well, I may have spiked the football a little too early lately based on this morning’s guidance. If precip arrives Saturday night, we’re in deep trouble based on what the short range is showing involving temps. I do think there’s a chance it won’t though.

It also looks as if the Euro is out to lunch still on temps. It’d be surprising if we didn’t change to rain still, but hit the 60’s? That’s probably not occurring based on history. It looks as if my NWS is ignoring them on that prediction and they’re forecasting mid 40’s on Sunday.

I'm going to flat out say this and if I'm wrong, I'm wrong. But I think the Euro is straight up Brick Tamland(movie character, not the poster) level stupid when it comes to CAD. The Euro is a good model but it isn't the gospels and I think people ride the Euro's D a bit too much in general.

The ICON/GFS/RGEM has a better handle on temps/CAD imo

I know you are trolling and the people who have been on here a while get you're playing a character, but I'd hate to be someone new trying to figure out what's going on in the main thread while you're doing this. 6z euro for example.

In reality the euro has been trending lighter on the precip though right? I’m in the Charlotte area and it does look like that’s the way it’s been going to my untrained eyes.
 
I know we’re currently talking about the upcoming winter storm but just a heads up that there’s a signal for another winter storm between Jan 30-Feb 2

Have to look at the details. The overrunning part, which temps are at the coldest had trended less when temps are at coldest. This really focused on Raleigh so maybe where you are it’s still heavy.

You know exactly what you're doing. I know this is not a question you're asking in good faith. And if you follow that up by saying you live in SE Wake, you're making statements as if they apply to the whole storm for the whole board. Also it's "much ADO about nothing."

I just posted this in the main thread. Getting tired of you fools thinking this is trolling. I am literally backing up what I am saying. I posted the ICON saying it looked terrifying. I am discussing model runs…you immature clowns only want to read about the “good runs” and not subjectively about the “bad runs”

Models are pushing the overrunning further NW when temps are at the coldest. NAM/AI/Euro

Then Euro flips to rain as main band swings through. So yeah…what’s not accurate about what the Euro is showing.

Serious question. Iv been so focused on the weekend that I had no idea we were getting a little rain today. I have my firewood wood uncovered at the house. Is it supposed to be a lot of rain today to where I should leave work and cover it up real quick?

Looks like around .1 at your house. Wouldn’t hurt to cover it up and let it start drying
 
Sucks being just east of Atlanta right now because I just don't really know where this is all going to go. It ranges from nuisance level ice all the way to devastating ice storm. Even the FFC still doesn't know what to do. Honestly If I were them, I would either put out a WWA or Winter Storm Watch, then make adjustments sometime tonight or tomorrow.
