I’m curious if things just look less extreme in a couple days. Less amp, less sw low, but conversely less pv and weaker high to where it meets in the middle.
All the historic 2000 mile long storms, historic highs, not sure I buy them. Still think we get a storm but wonder if the volume just goes way down.

Not sure why I don’t have permission to post in storm thread but the gfs shifted south a bit but total actually went higher for a lot even to the north

Just gotta keep your expectations in check. Don’t get emotionally damaged when a model shows 3 inches of sleet instead of 12 inches of snow.

1 suppressed GFS run and people are now bringing up Feb 1973 lol. It's one run on arguably the worse mainline model out there. Folks need to chill a bit.

That's a Brutal Run for the Southern Atlanta Metro. Very little snow South of I-20 while the North Metro gets hammered.Avert your eyes North Georgia weenies. Gonna be hard to top this run moving forwardView attachment 185837

it shoud be mostly sleet though south of the metro if you look at the GFS but the EURO was freezing rain galore...let hope for a colder mid levels (925 Temps)
