So for years you’ve cluttered up discussion and storm threads with banter, and now you are cluttering up the banter threads with weather maps. Make up your mind!
Well, I can't post that stuff in the discussion thread like I would if I was allowed to post there. Not sure why I was restricted because I wasn't really posting banter in there for a while.

I think Brick has made a change I think if you up him back in the normal thread he would be fine and keep the Banter in the Banter thread. Just my opinion though

Unfortunately, your track record had sealed your fate for those posting privileges. How about not posting the same stuff here that’s already been posted in the discussion threads?

I haven't been posting banter in the discussion thread for a while. I enjoy posting the play by play and results of the model runs. Really getting confused on what is okay and what isn't.

You may be right, but some of us have known Brick for a dozen years or more. He’s been banned and let back in on several occasions. Recently, he said that he was only here for the vibes and didn’t care about actually learning anything. Doesn’t sound like someone who should be posting in the main threads.

Understood.

No, I said I care more about the end result than how it got there. Not everyone has to be so scientifically inclined to enjoy this. If I post banter in there instead of just doing the play by play and the model run results then ban me. That is what I was trying to do since I came back but for some reason I was still restricted.

look I’m just a newbie here, but forgiveness is a virtue and something we should all strive for. Yall are in charge but it’s not like this is a decision you can’t take back if it turns out wrong.

Unfortunately, the consensus from the moderator and administration crew is not in your favor. Since you’ve turned over a new leaf, there are other sites and social media outlets you can use to share your thoughts and look at your maps and memes.

Easier access to the cold I guess. Georgia isn't East of the Mountains like SC and NC are.

To be fair, they also benefit way more heavily when it comes to CAD because of the mountains. This is just an unusual set of storms we've had over the last couple of winters. Most likely averaged out over the next decade or so, those areas will get more snow than areas in Southern GA.

Yes when there's CAD involved the Carolinas have easier access to the cold.

But the mountains haven't moved; it wasn't as much of a problem in decades past.

Yes but it seems like we cannot get good CADs anymore.

Something in the overall patterns have changed; the orientation of frontal passages, the scarcity of blocking or of getting CAD setups, the overall amount of cold, the tough placement, the SJ strength... setups are just different and what used to work doesn't anymore. The areas that used to have an easier time just don't anymore. Latitude and altitude don't mean what they used to, until a certain point. Being at 35N and 1000ft elevation isn't superior anymore to being at 32N and 200 ft.

Well that's your problem. You need to get CAD more involved like you used to in the old days. And then you'll be golden.

Calling an over performer for the i20 corridor from AGS to CAE. I don’t know how we’re gonna do it, but we’re due… so I’m manifesting it

It just amazes me the hole from past Aiken to the rock hill area. Frosty hates us

51 here, which is right about where we were forecasted for our high. We've had plenty of good storms where we were this warm or warmer the day before, but not cooling off tonight is the bigger concern.
