I hope there is nothing to this but after this winter we are definitely due for a warm winter wall to wall . it's been a few years. I don't think I've ever seen the West so warm for so long.

Remember that storm last Janaury where the GFS was the one showing snow and the Euro wasn't, but then three days out the Euro shifted NW and followed the GFS? Yeah, that was awesome.

I had waved the white flag and moved on with January 2014 during my attempt to move away from my parents (college related, and yeah it didn't work out). I figured that we might could get a dusting based on what I was reading on the forum the "group" was at and then went to focusing on studying something I don't remember as it's been too long, it started snowing and didn't stop until probably near late afternoon and Rome probably got almost 4 inches of snow estimating, at least where I was at.
Remarkable storm. Since I'm never going to leave the SE, probably one of the few times I'll see it snow while it's below 20 degrees. Once it was clear class was cancelled and I wasn't going to slide everywhere when driving, I went to spend the weekend with my grandma, and we talked about the happenings of the storm. Really want to say that she talked about how somebody went into labor when they were stuck in the snowjam.
To be honest, I've probably waved the white flag here...at least I'm close.
Reel it in tonight fam. Amp her up. Somebody gotta get something.
There’s 0 signs that it’s gonna start moving NW again.

Nice night for Twister to be out on the porch polishing his golf clubs.
Significant (say 1”+) snow accumulations were very rare in S GA 1903-1973. For example, Albany had just one (Nov 1912). Tifton did have 2. Alma, just E of Douglas, had none although their record doesn’t start til 1937-8. Brunswick had none. SAV had only 2 of 1”+ during those 70 years and they’re at a higher latitude.
So, there’s no reason not to believe it.
