Pattern October Oven 2024

That looks really good for next Tuesday onwards. Perfect weather in my opinion. You wouldn't need AC or heat. Even this week is not horrible.
We're definitely getting there. People have to remember our averages this time of year are still 78/57.

Please. I'm begging 😅

And it's officially the first month we've had snow before...

Although there's nothing but above normal temps in sight

It's okay... You don't want above average temperatures in the fall. . You know it will shift eventually and you want it to shift in December.

Looking forward to a true Fall Cooldown next Tues , wed possibly.

Also did you know it takes 31 million trees per year to supply the US with toliet papper.

They out there buying it up again like its Gold. Fyi

I've had exactly one low below 60 degrees since meteorological fall on September 1st. I didn't think that was much out of ordinary until checking the past several years I've had a station up. Not only is that uncommon, I've had 40s in September or close to it almost every September since 2019. This is truly remarkable, and I don't expect another low below 60 until at least Tuesday or Wednesday evening. Temps are being moderated by the modeling each day as we approach.

I’m gonna blame the stupid tropics for the unseasonable warmth. The next time I move it will be as far away from the Gulf as possible.

This is out our region, but the southwest has been absolutely on fire. Phoenix just had their warmest September ever, and it looks like they had something like 7 to 10 record highs in a row, including a new warmest September temperature of 117F.

They are forecast to be 10-15 above average the next week. Their average high is around 94.

I think last time this happened was 2018. That fall was worse where I don't think we had a sub 60 low at all up this way until Michael passed in mid October

I distinctly remember the Fall of 2002. It took forever for us to get temps at night in the 50s and 40s. That September was also very wet just like this September if I recall.
