3 weeks now with little to no rain. No end to the streak in sight either.
Love it but I'll take my 4.5" of snow on November 1st over that. Mind you I'm still doing penance for that snow.

Nice Augusta jackpot! I hope we see 5 storms like that this winter!I know this is completely random but as Ive been reconstructing some winter storms for NC, I just came across a big accumulating, area wide snowfall in South Carolina and Georgia in mid November 1901!View attachment 717
An SD special! As crazy as this sounds, that wasn't the first time it's snowed that much in Lexington in November. This storm in 1901 also produced 5" of snow in Lexington, SC... lmao!

1 inch in November? That would be epic if that happened again.I know this is completely random but as Ive been reconstructing some winter storms for NC, I just came across a big accumulating, area wide snowfall in South Carolina and Georgia in mid November 1901!View attachment 717
When I get the chance, I'm going to check the official record to see how much ATL got. Accumulating SN in ATL in November was rare even going back to 1890.

WTH! LOL!

This is great. We are talking about snow in the July thread. Must be some serious mental meltdowns going on in this heat

Look back over recent years with Halloween snow ... omen hasn't been too terribly good ... in fact, overall, not thinking the winters are worth remembering, unless you generally like the next snow on Pres's Day or thereabouts ...Snow on Halloween, how cool is that

Yep, assuming the totals verify, nobody will complain with widespread 2 inches over even upstate SC.Since it is still July, this is going here, though it straddles into August.
The maps are too voluminous to post, so here's links, instead:

All in all, moving out into time, it looks generally wet (even in SC at points), and also after a bit the temps seem to want to stay at or below normal overall.
Well, almost nobody, based on historic rants ...Yep, assuming the totals verify, nobody will complain with widespread 2 inches over even upstate SC.
The HRRR model I just looked at shows exactly nothing for me. Not 1 drop.3k HRRR, is pants tightening for western Carolinas! Even in Shetleyville
Your basement run doesn't count! That Jordan Spieth tho!!The HRRR model I just looked at shows exactly nothing for me. Not 1 drop.
Ahh ... history repeats itself ... go figure ...Well, almost nobody, based on historic rants ...
Radar begs to differ! The HRRR model I just looked at shows exactly nothing for me. Not 1 drop.
