Anyone want to know a completely crazy but not shocking fact? Yes the state of Alabama charges you tax to buy a fishing license from the State of Alabama….. weird right?

Thought that was standard practice. NC makes you buy both salt and freshwater licenses. Spanish mackerel have arrived so I'm gonna test them this week
No you are a right it is as far as buying fishing licenses, but they literally charged me a 10% buying tax on top of the license fee. That is the funny part; the state taxed its own product which was passed on to me. It must be a new practice because I remember paying only the license fee in the past.
Well , Iowa that has more cows than people, charges 30$ a year for resident fishing license and that doesn’t include the trout stamp and that’s for only 2 rods max
If you want to use a 3rd rod, I believe it’s an extra 5$
And they go January to January, NOT 12 months from the month you buy, like SC went to
Bowling. House shot average between 170-190 and league 155-170 
Had a massive swarm go into my lure on Saturday. Thankfully it replaces the queenless hive I’m loosing.
I got my first hive last week. I though I caught a swarm last year but they were just scouting apparently and had nowhere near the numbers you have.
I’m gonna reset the swarm trap this evening. Maybe I can get another swarm.
I’ve caught swarms before, but no where near as big as that one.
Someone mentioned the cicadas a little while back and while I was a little dubious to the claim of a mass hatch it certainly it true. They are everywhere in certain areas. Thousands of them are in the trees flying everywhere.
They are so loud at my house it starts messing with my mind after a couple of hours outside. That constant drone just gets me. Little suckers keep landing on me too. 5 miles down the road there is nothing.
Yeah that is the odd part. At my house, nothing is out of the ordinary and we haven’t seen one. The only ones you hear is the normal summer big green ones.
They hit 90 decibels on my watch last night. I was very impressed.
