Seemingly out of nowhere, we have this system. Up to 20/40, And the CMC has a storm, while the GFS and Euro have a weak low. This could be a system we were tracking earlier, but I lost track of if it was. If it was the last thread that we called a dead storm, then this thread should merge with it. Won't be around to track it between Monday evening and Friday afternoon, so if it forms I will make the wiki page this weekend. Also if it does, if we were tracking it, the GFS and/or CMC would wiki dependant on which fantasy storm it was.

It is heading for the Carribean, and is modeled weak relatively except for a few other models.

Up to 30/40. HWRF has it becoming a hurricane, lol at the TCLP. Also, looking at the satellite, it's looking better and better. I think this could have a shot at becoming a storm.

I have a feeling that the new wave behind Invest 95L could be classified as a invest soon.

One more pass and we can probably say this is a tropical depression...

The envelope of earth-relative westerlies, aided in large part by the passage of a weak CCKW and the southwesterlies on the equatorward side of the monsoon trough, is extremely impressive w/ 95L... It's certainly not out of the realm of possibility this could be upgraded to a tropical storm given that the system is moving at about 15 knots to the W-WNW and the winds on the weak side of the circulation were 20-25 knots...

There's definitely no shortage of westerlies in 95L, about to find out what the NE quadrant is made of...

Looks like we might have Tropical Storm Don here, recon found 35 kt surface winds w/ 1009mb minimum SLP.

That link I posted a few minutes ago sure made it look that way. But you said it 2 hours ago.
Great call, as per normal, Webb! You're always a step ahead of the curve ... ;)
    Thanks, man!

CMC may get a win from this for finding the storm.

Hopefully this thing comes into the southeast as a tropical storm and changes the hot and dry pattern NC and SC are in. A storm like Beryl from 1994 would get the job done

[IMG] Don could moist up the low behind it to become a storm as well. Boy if the low behind Don would form, talk about a monster storm. Look how large and broad the structure is
