I somehow thought this was Debby but then I realized Debby went way up north and this came out of the same type of system Debby did a couple of days ago. At 40/40.
Reading their discussion and it really was a stretch to name this oneLooks like we are really stretching for storms this year. Weak little spin where Debby was that formed early this morning.
We keep getting subtropical storms this year. Nothing has come off of Africa that is a real threat and it's staying that way at least the remainder of the month it appears. I think the NHC is bored at the lack of activity so naming swirls is all they can do.Fourth subtropical storm of the season.
