Pouring rain again.
Greensboro got hit hard. That was a big tornado.
Just over 4 inches of rain here. Been without power since about 8 last night. Part of the water system is down in the county as well. Schools are trying to go on a two hour delay today if power can be restored. (I’m in Marion, NC McDowell county)
Thousands without power this morning in Guilford County. Schools are closed.
1.81 last night lot of small debris on secondary roads this morning

This weekend looks like another severe event possible . Big rain maker
When the line finally started moving it moved fairly quickly through here, only .73 and like you I did see lots of small debris, limbs some small dead trees blown over but nothing major at all.
Confirmed EF-2 with 135mph winds. Guilford County schools are closed again tomorrow. Three schools took major damage and will be located to other campuses for the remainder of the school year.
Cold night tonight for those without power.

The tornadoes in SC (Lexington & Irmo) were confirmed. Some sources say two tornadoes, I'd guess it was the same cell from the storm reports and distance, idk.
Confirmed tornado in Wake County as well.

Crazy at how this threat ended up playing out some saw nothing at all. Some heavy rainfall and NC SC ended up with TORS
